Trump Is Unrealistic about Himself

Here’s what Trump says about himself in an interview with Barbara Walters:

“I am a nice person, but I think the thing that will surprise people, I’ll be a unifier,” he said. “I think I’ll bring people together, and that includes blacks and whites and everything. I think people will come together.”

How badly can one person be out of touch with his own reality?

He also said, “Everyone says, ‘Oh you’ll never lose.’ Look, you can always lose,” he told Walters. How badly can one person be in assessing what people think of him? Every step of the way in this campaign, he has surprised the great majority of people by still being in the campaign. The word has been repeated thousands of times that Trump has no chance at all. But he listens to his own toadies and think they speak for everyone. That is very badly unrealistic.

Donald Trump is not in tune with reality and that makes him dangerous.
