BEAUTIFUL MUSIC: The Rose Ensemble

One of the joys of living in Minnesota is our extremely rich abundance of choral groups, thanks in large part to the influence of St. Olaf College in Northfield. My favorite group is the Rose Ensemble, featuring excellent voices, wonderful arrangements, and a wide range of musical styles. Their repertoire is enriched by a great deal of original research, allowing them to mix old favorites with music that may not have been heard in centuries. Whatever they sing and perform, it is always done with a fresh and outstanding musicality.
