trump admires brutal tyrants

It’s hard to believe that Germans in 1933 found it hard to believe. . .that Hitler was as bad as he had proclaimed himself to be in Mein Kampf. He had signaled his love for brutality and his hatred for the Jews and his disgust with democracy in that one little book written while he was in prison for having tried to conquer Munich on his way to taking over all of Germany.

Yet he promised to make Germany great again, to rid it of its aliens, to stop crime by being merciless with criminals, and to give everyone a job. He delivered on his promises but proved in the process that he was just as brutal and cruel as he had claimed.

trump has expressed admiration for Putin, for Kim Jong Un, the massacre in Tianamen Square, for waterboarding and even worse torture, and now Saddam Hussein. Just how many times and in how many ways does trump have to broadcast his meanness of spirit and his bent for cruel oppression before his blind supporters finally catch on??? He is truly a beast with no moral dimensions to his character whatsoever.

He has shown his contempt for democracy, for justice, for law, for anyone who even disagrees with him. He is entirely self-centered and self-serving, so blatantly so that it is truly amazing there is a single person in America who supports him. . .except for those few folk like Christie and Gingrich who hope to ride his coattails into their own glory. They need to remember that Hitler murdered his closest friend, Roehm, as part of his path toward consolidating power entirely unto himself.
