Devious donald

Yes, yes, I know that trump did not claim that Mrs. Khan was not allowed to speak because she is Muslim. He simply raised the question. How harmless can that be?

trump knows full well that questions are more powerful than answers. He has no right to raise questions publicly when there is no evidence suggesting the question. He  uses innuendo, the coward’s way of discrediting someone.

What makes it especially awful in this case is that he was stoking the fires of bigotry against a mother whose son lost his life fighting for America in Iraq. People often comment that trump has no governor on his mouth. That’s not the problem. The problem is that he has no moral governor on his heart.

Do you doubt the power of questions? Read Genesis, chapter 3. Do not get hung up on questions about whether the story is literal history. That’s irrelevant. The story has reverberated throughout the centuries because it is true to the human heart. Place yourself in the story. Are you like Eve? Are you like Adam? Or are you like the deceiving serpent? There is no question where trump fits in the story . . .

  1. RJ says:

Mr. Khan was blasting Trump basically for his stance on immigration ~ WE NEED THAT! In the 12 years since their son was killed (by Muslim extremists?) How many times has Mr. Khan vocally condemned RADICAL ISLAM? None that I’ve heard of. If it had been up to Trump their son would probably still be alive as Trump would not have started the war in Iraq. Hillary was as responsible for their son’s death as was George Bush!

Oh my! Devious donald is a man who says that if someone criticizes him, that gives him the right to attack them. Do you really believe he would keep us out of war? And look at how ridiculous your statement is: The Khans gave up their beloved son to fight radical Islam and you criticize them for not having gotten your attention with any condemnations against radical Islam? Just how great a condemnation do you want? Have you equaled their degree of condemnation? And do you have any idea how many, many thousands of people died because America in the late 30s and early 40s was gripped by an “America First” fad, keeping us from aiding our allies and carrying our fair share of the load?
