Both before and after the election and even now, Trump has often claimed he announces no policies because he doesn’t want opponents to know in advance what he is going to do. he told us that he knows more about Iraq than do the generals — such a fool’s way of speaking! — and that he had an exact plan for what to do. by the time he had been in office a couple of weeks, it was clear he had lied and in fact had no plan or even a vague idea what to do.
And by now it is clear that one of the very troubling results of Trump keeping his brilliant — but non-existent — plans a secret is that even his closest team members, such as cabinet members and the press secretary, are left guessing. And they frequently guess wrong!
The truth about Trump is easy to perceive for anyone who had had experience dealing with a master manipulator. One of the manipulator’s most powerful and common tools is to withhold information that other people need in order to understand. That makes people dependent on the manipulator. A common variable on this theme is to give slightly different bits of information or slightly varied ways of expressing that information to others, meaning they will each appear stupid and ill-informed and will, again be dependent of the manipulator.
We must keep in mind always that Trump is not a decisive leader but a bluff. Nothing more. He does not know what makes America great, does not know how democracy functions, and does not even know his own mind. He is simply bluffing every time he opens his mouth or sets finger tips to twitter his little mind away.
I cannot find a way to comprehend how anyone — especially among those who claim to love Jesus Christ — can believe there is an ounce of integrity in Trump. He is so very, very antagonistic to everything Jesus exemplified and taught.
