The HooNoo President

One of the marks of Trump’s ignorance is his amazement at perfectly obvious realities. He is just learning, for instance, that leading a government is more complex than he had imagined. He seems to have been the last human being on the planet to figure out, for another instance, that the whole realm of health care is extremely difficult. “HooNoo it could be so hard?” And certainly he is the only person not to have realized until now that the US government is far bigger than any business he’s ever imagined. “HooNoo the government was so big?”

Who knew, Trump? Everybody except you and that makes you one of the most ignorant people on earth. Now that you are beginning to gain some sense of your own ignorance, isn’t it time to resign before you do any more harm?

What a failure of democracy that we have elected a man who has no moral, intellectual, spiritual, or experiential qualifications to lead the most powerful nation the earth has ever seen. . .

In his recent interview with the Associated Press, there were 16 times when the reporters were not even able to figure out what Trump was saying. Sitting right in front of him as he spoke —  and having the benefit of unlimited playback of the recording — the reporters ended up simply writing “Unintelligible.” It is not entirely clear whether the reporters were unable to hear any distinct words when Trump spoke or simply could make no sense out of his incoherent ramblings.

Commenting on an earlier discussion with Elijah Cummings, Trump said, “Well he said, you’ll be the greatest president in the history of, but you know what, I’ll take that also, but that you could be. But he said, will be the greatest president but I would also accept the other. In other words, if you do your job, but I accept that. Then I watched him interviewed and it was like he never even was here. It’s incredible. I watched him interviewed a week later and it’s like he was never in my office. And you can even say that.”

Trump’s serious problem with Attention Deficit Disorder is so bad it keeps him from finishing his own sentences. He frequently demonstrates that he is unable to follow a thought from beginning to end. And this is the man who must make the most difficult decisions on earth???
